What Is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a training course aimed at newly qualified drivers within the first 12 months of successfully passing their practical driving test. It was designed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) with the help of insurers & the driving instruction & driver training industry. You could even save up to 30% on your insurance!

Pass Plus builds on your skills and knowledge. It will teach you how to anticipate, plan for & deal with all kinds of hazards to help you become a more confident driver. The course is a minimum of 6 hours of in-car training.

Statistics show that newly qualified drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their driving test than any other time in their driving career. Age doesn't matter, it's down to a lack of driving experience. This is where Pass Plus comes in.
